Robert "Bob" Benson Obituary

Robert "Bob" Gale Benson, 59 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on November 20, 2022 at 2:23 p.m. at his residence. On November 28, 1962 in Plymouth, Indiana he was born to Glen G. Benson and Carol J. (Berger) Benson. He lived most of his life in Marshall County, Indiana.

On September 1, 1989 he married Tami Young, they later divorced.

He worked at Star Glass in Bremen, Indiana

Robert attended LaVille high school with the class of 1981.  He served in the United States Navy from 1982 – 1986 receiving his Honorable Discharge. He was a lifetime member of the Bourbon American Legion Post 424.

Robert loved fishing, going to garage sales, and gold panning. He was very proud of his collection of cast iron, and loved NASCAR and watching Notre Dame get beat.

 

Robert is survived by his Mother – Carol (Berger) Benson of Plymouth, Indiana

Children – Celia Rosales of Plymouth, Indiana; Jacqueline Holguin of Texas; Kyle Benson of Plymouth, Indiana; Amanda Benson of Evansville, Indiana; and Andrew Benson of Mount Vernon, Indiana

2 grandchildren Harper and Layla

Sister Christine Lotter of Hamlet, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his father Glen Benson

Per his wishes, no services are planned.
