Joyce M. (Myers) Robinson

Joyce M. (Myers) Robinson, 88 of Argos, Indiana passed away on September 23, 2021 at 9:49 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana. On April 28, 1933 in Hamilton County, Indiana she was born to Herman C. Myers and Mary Catherine (Artman) Myers. She has lived in Argos since 1965, having moved here from Cicero, Indiana.

On November 3, 1951 she married Lendis B. (LB) Robinson and together they shared the next 70 years with each other.

Joyce loved Life, loved the outdoors, and fishing was one of her favorite things. Her biggest joy was the gathering of her family. Cooking for all of them was a real treat for her. Joyce had a wonderful sense of humor, filled with charm, and wit. She loved all of her Kids and Grandchildren and taking care of them brought her great joy.

Joyce was a housewife/homemaker and worked for Hart/Schaffner/Marx as a Supervisor in Rochester, Indiana where she retired in 1993 after 23 years.

She attended the Tiosa Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Walnut Ruralettes Home Economics Club of Marshall County, Indiana. She canned and froze produce from the garden and orchard every year; and her strawberry and peach jam was a grandchild's favorite.

Joyce was a graduate of Westfeild High School with the class of 1951 in Westfield, Indiana. She was an avid basketball fan and would watch every NCAA tournament game and check her bracket. Joyce was an awesome story teller, and many hours were spent around the dinner table listening to stories. She always had a positive outlook on everything and never said a negative thing about anyone or anything. Joyce had an amazing memory never forgetting a birthday or a name.

Joyce is survived by her Husband LB Robinson of Argos, Indiana.

Daughter – Pam Ulch of Noblesville, Indiana

Sons – Gary Robinson and his Significant Other Mercedes Velo of Sebring, Florida; and Steve Robinson and fiancé Harvi of Argos, Indiana

5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

Brother – Bill Myers of Indianapolis, Indiana

She is preceded in death by her: Parents, Brother – Wave Myers; Sisters – Joanne Cline, Evelyn Owen, and Wini Randall

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday September 28, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr.

Burial will follow the services at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
