Dale Allen Rex

Dale Allen Rex Sr., 61 of Argos, Indiana passed away Thursday August 25, 2022 at 4:42 a.m. at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. On February 25, 1961 in Plymouth, Indiana Dale was born to Herman Joseph Rex and Mary Lou (Elliott) Rex. He lived all his life in Marshall County.

Dale worked in Preventative Maintenance on conveyor belts and installation for Wynright Corp of Hobart, Indiana.

Dale was a member of the Argos United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1979. Dale enjoyed hunting and fish when ever he could. His pool parties and cook-outs were always a hit. Dale was always ready for a game of darts or shuffleboard.

Dale is survived by his Wife – Lori Rex of Argos, Indiana

Son – Dale Rex Jr. and wife Melissa of Fishers, Indiana

Daughter – Emily Richards and husband Dan of Bremen, Indiana

8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild

Sister - Kim Sellers and husband Loren of Bourbon, Indiana

Sister-in-Law – Tammy Rex of Argos, Indiana

Several nieces and nephews and his special K-9 friend Kaos.

He is preceded in death by his Parents; Sons – Matthew Rex, Deven Rex, and Andy Ginther; Brother – Joe Rex

Friends may visit with the family on Monday August 29, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Robert Vale and Rev. Max Milton. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
