Lee Leffert Obituary

Lee Merle Leffert, 46 of St. Rd. 8, Culver, Indiana, died on June 22, 2018 at  11:02 p.m. at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, Indiana following a very sudden illness.

On August 6, 1971 in Rochester, Indiana he was born to Lynn M. Leffert and Cheri (Davis) Butts. He has lived in Culver since 1999 after moving back from Oklahoma. Lee grew up in the Argos community.

On April 4, 1998 in Oklahoma he married Carol Lorraine Calhoun and together have shared the past 20 years with each other.

He was the Manager of Ceres Solutions, Rochester, Indiana.

Lee was involved in 4-H and Argos FFA when he was younger. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion, Argos, Indiana

 

Lee is survived by his Wife – Carol Leffert of Culver, Indiana

Daughter – Katelynn Penny of Plymouth, Indiana

Son – Trevor Calhoun of Culver, Indiana

Grandson – Hudson Calhoun

Mother – Cheri Butts and husband William of Elkhart, Indiana

Brothers – Christopher Leffert of Logansport, Indiana; and Nicholas Leffert of Wichita Fall, Texas

Sister – Leslie Bloss and husband Robert of Elkhart, Indiana

Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law – Kenneth and Sara Calhoun

 

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Father – Lynn Leffert

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday June 28, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
