Donald Phillip Walters, 60 of 19B Road, Argos, Indiana died on February 19, 2018 at 4:10 a.m. at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana where he had been in declining health. On February 21, 1957 Knox, Indiana he was born to Earl Walters and Clara (Gilsinger) Walters and had lived most of his life in the Argos community.
On August 3, 1991 in Culver, Indiana he married Beverly Ann Campbell.
Don was a Millwright – Welder – Maintenance at I/N Tek and I/N Kote, New Carlisle, Indiana.
He had attended Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Monterey, Indiana; and had been active with 4-H in Marshall county. Don was member of Millwright Local Union 1076 of Indiana.
He was a graduate of Culver High School with the class of 1976. While in school he was very active in FFA, Basketball, and Wrestling.
Don is survived by his Wife – Bev Walters, Argos, Indiana
Daughter – Shania Walters of Argos, Indiana
Sons – Phillip Walters of Argos, Indiana and Mark Walters of Culver, Indiana.
1 Grand Daughter – Annalisa Walters of Mishawaka, Indiana
4 Sisters – Loretta Nester of Virginia; Elnora Girton of Texas; Birdena Pearce of Monterey, Indiana; and JoAnn Hero and husband Grant of Monterey
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers – Ralph Walters, Jerry Walters, and John Walters Sr.; Sisters – Jean White, Karen Floyd, and Lorraine Roseneu; and 3 Infant siblings; Mother-in-Law Elizabeth Levandowski and Father-in-Law Eugene Campbell Sr.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Father Michael McKinney.
Burial will take place at the Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, Indiana.
