Jane Agnes Walker-Bridgeman

Jane Agnes (Bigelow) Walker-Bridgeman, 83 of Van Wert, Ohio, passed away on February 21, 2024, at 5:59 p.m. at her son's residence in Argos, Indiana. On March 11, 1940, in Ottoville, Ohio, she was born to Hilary (Buck) Joseph Bigelow and Coletta Augusta (Kehres) Bigelow. She lived most of her life in the Van Wert community.

She married Jimmy S. Walker who preceded her on June 23, 1995. She then married Hatler Bridgeman Jr. who preceded her on December 13, 2012.

Jane worked in the circulation department of the Van Wert Times Bulletin and was a clerk at Shell CW Service of Van Wert, Ohio.  

Jane is survived by her Daughters (all from Ohio): Joni Baker of Van Wert, Brenda Brown-Schmidt and husband Bruce of Payne, and Loveonna Monroe of Antwerp…by her Sons: Christopher Brown and wife Jeanie of Argos, Indiana; Tim Brown of Venedocia, Ohio; Michael Southers and wife Kerry of Janesville, Wisconsin; and Brad Lintermoot of Van Wert, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews, stepchildren and step-grandchildren, and past in-laws that were like family.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, Sister: Anna Marie Irick, Brothers: Robert Bigelow, Raymond Bigelow, Roger Bigelow, Ronald Bigelow, and Paul Bigelow

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at First Baptist Church (13887 Jennings Road, Van Wert, Ohio) with Pastor Bobby Hile officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Everyone is kindly invited to attend and share your greatest memories of Jane. The family will be holding a private burial service at another time.
